Akdital opens three cutting-edge medical centers in eastern Morocco
The Moroccan healthcare group Akdital has inaugurated three new medical facilities in the eastern cities of Oujda and Nador, reinforcing its presence across the country and strengthening its role in modernizing the national health system.
In Oujda, the group has opened a private multidisciplinary hospital with a capacity of 121 beds. The facility includes intensive care units for adults and newborns, a maternity department, emergency services operating 24/7, and advanced diagnostic equipment such as MRI, CT scans, and mammography. It also houses a cardiology intervention center equipped with catheterization rooms, designed to provide comprehensive care for cardiovascular and neurological conditions.
Alongside this hospital, Oujda now hosts a new International Oncology Center, entirely dedicated to cancer treatment. With 33 beds, chemotherapy units, radiotherapy equipment, and nuclear medicine facilities, the center aims to establish the city as a regional hub of excellence in oncology.
In Nador, Akdital has launched a modern multidisciplinary and oncological hospital with 144 beds. The facility offers intensive care, maternity, surgery with eight operating rooms, as well as interventional cardiology and oncology services. Notably, it introduces the first nuclear medicine center in Nador, expanding access to cutting-edge cancer diagnostics and therapies.
With these three new institutions—representing a total of 298 additional beds—Akdital now covers all 12 regions of Morocco, further affirming its commitment to accessible, high-quality healthcare. This expansion follows the recent opening of the Ibn Yassine Private Hospital in Rabat, a 155-bed facility combining multidisciplinary and oncological care.
By multiplying its investments, Akdital consolidates its leadership in Morocco’s private healthcare sector and positions itself as a key player in improving medical services nationwide.
