France and Morocco Make Progress on Their "Ambitious" Common Roadmap
On Thursday, the deputy spokesperson for the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs emphasized that France and Morocco are making progress in implementing their "ambitious" common roadmap.
The exchanges between the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Stéphane Séjourné, and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, which took place on Tuesday in Paris, "allowed us to further advance in the implementation of the political agenda and the ambitious common roadmap that we now share with Morocco," said the deputy spokesperson for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs during a press briefing.
This roadmap "covers both major future investments and security aspects, cultural exchanges, and global challenges," he added.
Following his talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, the French Foreign Minister wrote on his X account that "the relationship between France and Morocco is unique!"
Séjourné visited Morocco at the end of February, as part of the firm determination of King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron to drive the bilateral strategic partnership on strong foundations, capitalizing on the solid historical and human foundations of these relations, while leveraging the achievements made within this partnership framework for decades.
