The Moroccan government has announced three significant improvements to the “Go Siyaha” program, aimed at maximizing its impact and creating more jobs within the tourism sector. The Ministry of Tourism, Craftsmanship, and Social and Solidarity Economy confirmed that these changes will come into effect starting Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

The Go Siyaha program has already seen substantial success, with over 1,000 projects supported. Given the significant entrepreneurial potential within the tourism sector, the government has decided to introduce these changes to further amplify the program’s success.

End of Minimum Investment Threshold of 1 Million Dirhams (MDH)

One of the most important updates is the removal of the minimum investment threshold of 1 million dirhams (MDH). Projects requiring less than 1 MDH can now benefit from Go Siyaha's investment support. This change was made in response to growing demand from young entrepreneurs who had previously been unable to access the program due to financial limitations.

The removal of the investment ceiling opens up the program to a wider range of innovative projects, from local cooperatives and community centers to guesthouses offering unique entertainment activities.

Expansion of Investment Support to Existing Businesses

Initially, Go Siyaha's investment support was only available to newly established businesses. However, in an effort to further promote growth, the program has now been extended to existing tourism companies looking to diversify or enhance their offerings. This update allows established businesses to leverage their experience, utilize available infrastructure, and fast-track high-potential projects.

Expanded Technical Assistance: Support from the Start

In addition to investment support, Go Siyaha has expanded its technical assistance, which was previously only available to established businesses. Starting now, new companies can access tailored support, particularly in structuring financial portfolios and securing financing.

This support will help new entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of starting a business and accelerate the launch of their projects, particularly in areas related to tourism animation.

A Program in Constant Evolution

“These changes reflect our continuous commitment to adapting to the needs of entrepreneurs,” said Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Craftsmanship, and Social and Solidarity Economy.

“We are enhancing Go Siyaha to ensure it supports all Moroccan talent in creating innovative tourism projects that are perfectly suited to the potential of each region,” she added.

The Go Siyaha program, which aims to sustainably transform the Moroccan tourism sector, is expected to support 1,700 tourism-related businesses by 2026. With 1,000 projects already in progress, the initiative aligns with the country’s tourism roadmap for 2023-2026, which focuses on stimulating investment in tourism animation and diversifying Morocco’s national tourism offer.
