It is official: Ain Sebâa zoo will open on December 30
The long-awaited opening of the Ain Sebâa Zoo in Casablanca is finally confirmed. The zoological park will officially welcome visitors on Tuesday, December 30, marking a major milestone for a project that has been eagerly anticipated for years.
After several postponements, the zoo’s management announced the new opening date through official communication channels, inviting the public to discover a modern space dedicated to wildlife and environmental education. The announcement comes after a final delay earlier this month, which was caused by unfavorable weather conditions.
Initially, the reopening had been expected on December 22, coinciding with the launch of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025. However, heavy rainfall and safety concerns led authorities to delay the event as a precautionary measure. The decision aimed to ensure the safety of visitors, animals, and infrastructure within the park.
With weather conditions now stabilized, the wait is over. From next week, families and animal lovers will be able to enjoy the new facilities and explore the diverse species housed in the park.
The management of Ain Sebâa Zoo has been entrusted to the company Dream Village under a 20-year concession agreement. Entry fees have been set at 80 dirhams for adults and 50 dirhams for children. Family packages are also available, offering reduced rates of 60 dirhams per adult and 40 dirhams per child.
