Morocco and Spain reaffirm strategic partnership at the UN
On Tuesday in New York, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, held talks with Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Speaking to the press, Albares emphasized the “friendship uniting Spain and Morocco” and highlighted the commitment of both nations to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The ministers also discussed several issues of mutual interest, reaffirming the importance of maintaining close dialogue and coordination. Albares underlined: “What is good for Spain is good for Morocco, and what is good for Morocco is good for Spain.”
