Morocco launches recruitment of 800 nurses and health technicians
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has announced the launch of a new recruitment campaign for 800 positions aimed at strengthening the country’s health workforce. The posts are reserved for nurses and health technicians, particularly in priority specialties, based on the actual needs of healthcare facilities and the available labor market profiles.
This initiative is part of the government’s effort to reinforce human resources in the health sector and support the structural reforms underway within Morocco’s national healthcare system.
According to the ministry, the recruitment process will begin once the waiting lists from ongoing competitive exams are finalized, ensuring fairness and equal opportunity among candidates.
In order to maintain transparency and participation, the allocation of these positions will be carried out in coordination with unions through the central committee in charge of assignments and transfers. The aim is to effectively meet healthcare institutions’ needs for nursing and technical skills and help reduce the staffing shortage affecting this vital sector.
The ministry emphasized that this initiative aligns with its strategic vision to guarantee the continuity and accessibility of healthcare services across all regions of the Kingdom, with the ultimate goal of improving care quality for all citizens.
