Morocco named “Destination of the Year” at Travel Awards 2025
Brussels, Belgium – Morocco has been honored as the “Destination of the Year” at the 2025 Travel Awards, in a ceremony held over the weekend at Brussels Airport’s Skyhall.
The recognition highlights Morocco’s rich, diverse, and high-quality tourism offerings, which impressed the jury and travel professionals attending the event. The gala, marking the 25th edition of the Travel Awards, brought together nearly 1,000 travel industry experts and company representatives from Belgium.
Organized by TRAVelMedia BeLux, publisher of the Belgian travel magazines TravMagazine BeLux and Travel360°, the event presented a total of 36 awards across various categories, celebrating excellence in tourism and travel services.
Morocco’s accolade reflects its growing reputation as a top international destination, combining cultural heritage, natural landscapes, and modern hospitality to attract visitors from around the world.
