"I am pleased to announce that Duke Buchan III will serve as the U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco," Trump shared on his social media platform, Truth Social. He further reiterated the importance of Buchan's mission, stating, "Duke will play a key role as we strengthen peace, freedom, and prosperity for our two countries."
Buchan brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the U.S. ambassador to Spain and Andorra from 2017 to 2021.
