This tournament, launched in collaboration with the Arab Middle East for Esports company, features teams from various countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, and Tunisia, alongside squads from Montenegro and Austria, as reported by the Federation.
Saeed Ali Al Taher, the Secretary General of the Federation, emphasized that the competition aims to enhance the experience of Arab players and refine their skills in preparation for major international tournaments.

Morocco's growing gaming sector
Morocco’s gaming industry is on the rise, bolstered by government initiatives aimed at nurturing this emerging sector. Recently, the Moroccan government approved a decree that expands the responsibilities of its Communications Department to encompass gaming, paving the way for strategic plans to boost the country’s video game industry.
In May 2024, Morocco hosted its inaugural Exhibition for the Electronic Games Industry, designed to promote the sector and highlight its technical, financial, and educational aspects.
Investment in Morocco’s video gaming sector continues to flourish. A report from Statista indicates that the country’s gaming business is projected to grow at an annual rate of 9.39% from 2024 to 2027. Sales figures are expected to rise significantly, from $227.3 million in 2024 to $297.5 million by 2027.
