Ukraine sends anti-drone military team to Denmark for joint exercises
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Tuesday that a military mission has arrived in Denmark to take part in joint anti-drone exercises. The initiative comes as Europe faces an increasing number of drone-related incidents and on the eve of a European defense summit hosted in Denmark.
“Our men have arrived to participate in joint exercises with our partners,” Zelensky wrote on social media, stressing that Ukraine will share its battlefield experience in countering Russian drones. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, Ukraine has been targeted by daily drone attacks, making its expertise particularly valuable for European allies.
The move highlights Kyiv’s growing role in shaping European defense strategies, as governments across the continent seek stronger cooperation in air security and drone defense.
