Lebanese singer Wael Jassar delivered a mesmerizing performance at the Mohammed V National Theater in Rabat on Friday night, as part of the 20th edition of the Mawazine Festival. The celebrated artist, renowned for his emotive voice and timeless tracks, was met with an electrified crowd that filled the venue to capacity.

A warm welcome for a beloved star

The moment Jassar stepped onto the stage, he was greeted by thunderous applause and cheers. Moroccan fans expressed their admiration with joyful ululations, reflecting their deep affection for one of the most esteemed voices in Arabic music.

To honor his Moroccan audience, Jassar held up the Moroccan flag and kissed it, a gesture that drew an even louder response from the crowd.

Jassar opened the concert with two fan-favorites: “Ana A’rab Men Shamsou We Zillou” and the iconic “Ghariba El Nass.” The audience passionately sang along, setting the tone for an evening of heartfelt performances.
