Royal Air Maroc Expands Fleet with 10th Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced the arrival of its 10th Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca on Sunday, November 24, at 10:20 a.m. The aircraft was welcomed with the traditional "Water Salute" ceremony, marking a significant addition to the airline's long-haul fleet, which now comprises ten aircraft, according to a company statement.
The delivery of this new aircraft represents an important step in RAM's development plan, initiated under the program contract signed with the Moroccan government in July 2023. The airline revealed that an 11th Dreamliner is expected to join the fleet before the end of the year.
With these two additional planes, RAM plans to expand its network by launching new direct routes to cities such as São Paulo, Toronto, and Beijing, further enhancing Morocco's connectivity with global markets.
