Vehicle crash in Fuengirola claims two lives and leaves three critically injured
A tragic accident occurred on Thursday night in Fuengirola, a coastal town in Málaga, leaving two people dead and three others severely injured. The incident took place around 10:00 PM along the promenade, near Carvajal. Emergency services, including the Local Police, National Police, and Firefighters, quickly responded to the scene.
According to reports from TVE, the accident occurred when a car traveling at high speed crashed into the terrace of a pizzeria, then collided with another vehicle. In addition to the three individuals who were critically injured, several others sustained minor injuries, although the total number of victims has not been revealed.
The Local Police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. National Police and Firefighters are also on the scene. Witnesses told El Español that the vehicle was speeding, with one saying the car was "burning rubber" and "knocked over several tables before crashing into a car that was coming from the opposite direction. Inside that car was a couple with two small children, who, miraculously, are unharmed."
